Through It All

It is beyond my power to do this…But God can tell you what it means and set you at ease. (Genesis 41:16, NLT)

Surprisingly, after all he has gone through, Joseph not only acknowledges God, but places great confidence in Him.

No one would blame Joseph for hating God, for doubting His existence, or, at the very least, questioning His interest in the affairs of men.

But instead of cursing God or turning away from Him, Joseph uses his circumstance to draw near to God. And so, when faith and confidence in God is required, Joseph is ready.

The words of this song could could easily have been Joseph’s. May it be ours, whatever our situation may be.
