Being With Jesus

We know the accounts of Simon Peter, highs and lows. Andrew, his brother, gets far less press. James and John got cool nicknames and a lot of notoriety. Matthew’s known as the tax collector and Simon as the zealot. The gospels barely mention Bartholomew and Thaddeus.

What matters is not what’s written about us, but that we were with Jesus.

Jesus, thank you for calling me to you. Thank you that I can be with you. My greatest satisfaction is in you.
