Waiting To Hear

exodus-32_1

We want things and we want them now. Who really has time (or at least the patience) to wait?

We want God to answer fast, to get to it, to speak now.

We’ve lost the ability to be still and wait, in any area, let alone wait for an eternal God.

40 days to hear from God? Forget it. 40 minutes is forever. And so we make our own decisions. We chart our own course if His isn’t clear in the moment.

Father, give me grace to wait for you and wait on you, for as long as it takes to hear from you.
