…what’s in our heart.
We seek God. We ask him to show us what he wants us to do, what choice we should make. We want to follow him, really.
We ask…and wait…for an answer.
But none comes.
So what happens in the down time? In the silence?
God shows us our heart.
A desire for freedom from pain and struggle. A longing for comfort and convenience. We want for these far more than what God has for us, or even, for God Himself.
It’s ugly. A painful truth. And…exposed. In the waiting and silence.
Do we really trust God? Believe He wants what’s best?
If you are seeking (God’s direction). If you are waiting (for his answer). Let the silence soften you, let it expose your heart, and let the Spirit work to shift your center to Him.
